Case Study | Innovative Charity Token Displays for Ad Community Fund & Angling Direct

When Angling Direct partnered with us to support their Ad Community Fund initiative, the objective was to create a bespoke in-store charity token display system that would encourage customer engagement while delivering a strong branded presence across multiple retail locations.

The Challenge

Angling Direct required a display solution for the Ad Community Fund that would:

  • Promote charitable giving in a clear and engaging way
  • Create a strong branded presence in-store
  • Allow charities and campaign graphics to be easily updated
  • Be durable enough for long-term retail use
  • Enable simple token dispensing and maintenance for staff
  • Work effectively across multiple store environments
  • Be manufactured consistently at scale for rollout nationwide

The Solution

We designed and manufactured a fully bespoke branded charity token display unit for Angling Direct’s Ad Community Fund campaign, featuring a robust MDF surround with custom printed branding throughout.

Each display incorporated three clear acrylic token compartments, complete with token slots positioned on the top for easy customer interaction and visibility. To maximise flexibility, interchangeable graphic inserts were integrated into the front of each compartment, allowing Angling Direct to quickly update charity messaging and campaign artwork across stores whenever required.

For ease of use behind the scenes, we engineered magnetic access traps on the rear of each token bin, enabling staff to quickly refill, remove, and dispense tokens without disrupting the display.

The combination of durable materials, clean presentation, and practical functionality resulted in a highly effective retail engagement solution designed for repeated daily use.
